Human nature craves order from the perceived chaos. Language has given us the ability to define, so now we live by those definitions. Caged by our own need to belong we say, "I am this" and "You are that". I am not a happy person, I am not a sad, angry, or any one-thing person. I am person existing in a moment, somewhere on a scale, between or at the extremes. Moment to moment, day to day, I slide along it.... until a job interview ... or a date... or my dad asks what I want to be when I grow up. Then suddenly, I have to be one of them. This is a social construct. A need to define order from the chaos. Resist.
